a very well built landscape lantern

This lantern is the same construction that it was in 1959, nothing has changed at all! It is manufactured of real metal and a good quality lampholder. I bought 3 of these to replace 2 that were next to the driveway and were used by the snow plow operator to find the extent of the driveway, and the lantern was on the losing end of the battle. One is a spare for this year. I was surprised to find the construction the same, a perfect match for the other 9 that were already there. An excellent choice for beauty and strength!
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Nice light easy to replace bulb, the only thing I did was sandblast the globe to frost it, looks better to me when lighted

Was very pleased with the outdoor lighting. The workmanship of the product was good. I am using the lights on a walkway around the sea wall of my property. It looks like they will be very durable for this.
